Barcelona – Gata de Gorgos

The camper parking in Villafranca del Penedés is great. I still need to leave a super positive review because the place, besides being very well located, has free water filling and emptying facilities, and the surroundings, being surrounded by other campers, give a sense of security. Stops at rest areas on the A7 highway are ruled out due to the level of negative comments they have, as thefts and problems are a daily occurrence.
This morning we left early for Valencia to drop off Beast at the Harley Davidson workshop for its inspection. It has earned it, the champion 😊.
After the stop, Thorsten and I continued towards Gata de Gorgos with Thorqui. We stopped at T's house to empty Thorqui and get her ready for the deep cleaning I always do when we finish these long trips. I like everything to be clear to have access to all the corners because, although we clean it during the trips, at the end of the journey it is always necessary to take everything out to reorganize it again and load it back up with what we will need depending on the type of trip we are going to make 🫧.
The journey back home was calm; I always say that when we reach Spanish roads, I drive very comfortably. Believe me when I say that the roads in Europe have a lot to envy about ours. During the time I have been traveling the world with Thorqui, I have been fully aware that what we have here is not found in the rest of the countries in the European Union or nearby.
Once Thorqui was emptied, I couldn't wait to head home with her, to my home 😃. I still have a thousand loads of laundry to do... I tell you this on every trip, Thorsten and I love each other very much and enjoy each other's company, but there’s nothing like returning home after spending almost two months away. And there's nothing like being able to enjoy a bit of peace at your "base of operations".

6,651 km and 937 photos later 🤦‍♀️ we are back home, each in our own for now 😉, with the satisfaction of adding another successfully completed experience and delighted to have shared it with you. We hope you enjoyed what we experienced over these fifty-five days 🤗
