30th day

This morning we headed straight to the workshop to change the battery. Thorqui and I arrived without any problems, and since they were already notified, they were super quick.

The workshop is open twenty-four hours and has no bad reviews online. Being a transit area for ferries coming and going, most of their clients are motorhomes in transit, and they solve their issues in no time because, as I said, all the reviews were thankful for their service.
It was no different for us 🙃. Efficient, quick, and reasonably priced, although in these emergency situations, the price of the service is the least of your worries if it allows you to continue traveling.

After the workshop, we went to Lidl to buy supplies and then to the campsite. I was eager to arrive because the battery issue had caused me some tension, although T says that the auxiliary battery, the one in the cabin, kicks in during startup if the other one fails, and that has indeed been the case 😉, but I was still a bit nervous.
I have to tell you that the battery has held up well because it’s the original one, and we’ve covered almost 92,000 km with it 😁.
The campsite for tonight is located on the strip of land that closes the Gulf of Igoumenitsa in northwestern Greece, right across from the island of Corfu.
We stayed in our home after settling in. The day was nice, and we had the beach nearby. We felt like relaxing a bit, so we went down for a while. Thorsten started by dipping a foot in and ended up taking a full bath 🏊‍♀️. Brave because the water, although he says it’s warmer than the Adriatic, is still quite chilly. I didn't join him because I've been dealing with a significant cold for two days that is slowly getting better 🥴

We had a quiet afternoon on the porch enjoying the sunset. For dinner, we bought some shrimp gyozas with steamed mussels as a starter and grilled chicken with various sauces.

Sunset on the beach while snacking on seeds 🤭.

Good night… I’ll keep sharing more 😘
