5th day

We left the parking lot today with a heavy heart, but not before grabbing a couple of croissants and a baguette from the baker, as well as a couple of dozen oysters for dinner πŸ˜‰.
We were about to leave "the oyster route" and had to make the most of it πŸ˜€.

We spent the day in a town called Salon de Provence. T left Thorqui at the workshop and we went with Thorqui to the supermarket to buy a couple of things πŸ˜….
I have to tell you about the wonderful treatment T and Beast received at the dealership.
First, he stopped at the one in Montpellier, but they completely ignored him, so he continued on to the next one on our list.
The problem with Beast is that the fuel pump started making a strange noise on the second day of the trip. It left the workshop a day earlier with a supposed tune-up and new tires. One thing is for sure, T keeps absolute control over all his bikes, especially if he goes on a trip with one of them.
The thing is, the part had to be replaced because, according to the forums, when it sounds like that it can last 30 or 10,000 km, but when it breaks the bike stops... and of course, you can't take that risk.
So, he arrived at the second dealership and they told him they didn't have the part, that it would take a week to order it and for it to arrive 😱. Suddenly, the owner started looking at the computer and making calls, and told him that the problem could be solved today πŸ’ͺ.
And it was done. They had a pump for another customer, he called him to ask if he minded delaying his repair, explaining the problem... The customer said it was no problem and by six in the evening Beast was back on the road and ready for battle πŸ’ƒ.
Since it was late, we decided to stay overnight in his apartment; the owner told us there was no problem 😍.
Oh!!! Another thing, Beast is under warranty, so he handled all the paperwork for the repair and it didn't cost a dime. Likewise, Thorsten told him that if there were any issues to let him know and he would pay for it.
Don't tell me that's not something to fall in love with πŸ₯°. We get used to being treated as if we were doing them a favor, and when these things happen, it leaves us speechless. So kind and so determined to lend us a hand... ❀️
Anyway, we had dinner and celebrated the success not only with oysters and shrimp... but also with some snails we bought at the supermarket.

Good night... I'll keep telling you 😘
